Baked Khasta Kachori with nut based filling

Hi     Khasta Kachori is one of the most famous Indian snacks popular all over the world. It is nothing but a Crispy Pastry with a mung dal/spiced nuts filling usually deep fried and served with green cilantro chutney. It is a mouthwatering appetizer, also enjoyed for breakfast in North India. I wanted to make a baked version of this and hence tried this for a collab on Instagram. It turned out really tasty and delicious. The main highlights of this yummy recipe are 1.These kachoris are baked in a conventional oven. They can also be deep fried. 2.I have added sourdough to the Kachori dough instead of baking powder to make it more healthier. If the weather is too cold you can start making it two days prior to the day of making kachori.Or You can use baking powder.I will share both the methods. 3.I have made a spiced nut based filling with almonds, pistachios and cashews along with some besan and spices.(please make moongdal filling if allergic to nuts.) ...

Plus they are packed with nutrients and antioxidants.Rich in fiber,Vitamin C and K and folate. Secondly Spinch, which does not need introduction,a leafy vegetable rich in iron, fi...
