Batata Vada using leftover Masala

If you have leftover potato Masala that you make for Masala  Dosa then don’t worry make this easy peasy instant Batata  .   Base:  1.5–2 cups Leftover potato masala Batter:  1 cup gram flour (besan), ¼ tsp turmeric, salt, a pinch of baking soda, and water. Optional Crunch:  Add 1–2 tbsp rice flour to the batter for a crunchy texture   Prep the Masala:  If the leftover masala is chunky, mash it slightly. If it lacks heat, add chopped green chilies, ginger garlic paste, or fresh coriander. 2. Shape:  Grease your hands with a little oil and roll the mixture into lemon sized balls  or slightly flattened patties. Mix the Batter:  Combine the batter ingredients, adding water gradually until it reaches a  thick, smooth flowing consistency  that can coat a spoon. Fry:  Heat 2 inches of oil in a pot. Thandai flavoured Daliya Kheer

Holi Special 🎨Thandai Daliya Kheer  ( Vegan, Refined sugar free)🎉 Why not indulge in a healthy thandai flavoured daliya kheer which is not only fibre rich but absolutely nourishing and guiltfree. I have added some fruits and dried roses to make a colourful holi dessert.Do try this for a quick healthy treat..📌 For Thandai Masala 💜 Almonds 2 tbsp 🧡 Dried Roses 4-5 💚 Black peppercorns 6-8 💛 poppy seeds 1 tbsp 💓 Cardamom 4-5 ❤ Saffron a pinch For Kheer 🔖Almond milk 21/2 cups 🔖Daliya/Broken wheat 5 tbsp 🔖Maple syrup 1/4 cup 🔖Thandai masala powder 2tsp 🏷Make a powder of the ingredients given under Thandai masala to make thandai powder. 🏷 Heat a pan, add almond milk, daliya, maple syrup , stir and cook well for  30 mins on low flame with lid closed. Serve immediately and decorate with colourful fruits

Baked Cranberry Gujiya - Holi special

  Baked Cranberry-Coconut-Jaggery wholewheat Gujiyas🎊🎉 Happy Holi to everyone celebrating!! These baked Karanjis became our delicious holi treat. I thought of stuffing them with something different. I had these dried cranberries in my Fridge. So I came up with this idea of dried cranberries, jaggery, and desiccated coconuts along with some thandai powder. They were super delicious crispy and gone in no time.!!😅 Recipe: (Makes 10-12 gujiyas) ↪Making the whole wheat dough:  Take 1 cup whole wheat flour, 2 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp coconut sugar, 1/4 tsp salt. Make a stiff dough using warm water as required. Keep aside. ↪Making the stuffing: In a blender, add 1/3 cup dried cranberries, 3/4 cup Jaggery powder, 3/4 cup dedicated coconut 1 tbsp homemade thandai powder, 1/2tbsp cardamom powder.
