Karigadubu (Fried Sweet Dumplings)

 It is that time of the year when we make the most sweet items . Shravana Maasa , the first of the four Chaturmasa is considered very auspicious and we perform Pooja to the  Dieties with all our devotion and excitement. Karigadubu means fried kadubu ( sweet dumplings made with Chana dal and Jaggery stuffed in Wheat flour dough and deep fried) . It is a mandatory sweet to make on special occasions like Varamahalakshmi Vratam, Shravan Shukravara Pooja, Shravan Gauri pooja.  Ingredients:  For the stuffing:( Hoorana) Chana Dal 1 cup Toor dal 1/2 cup Jaggery 3/4 -1 cup Cardamom powder  Camphor powder a small pinch For the dough: Wheat flour 1 cup Oil 1 tbsp Sugar 1 tsp Salt a pinch For Sathi : Rice flour 2 tbsp Ghee 1 tbsp For Frying: Oil  INSTRUCTION: 1 Thoroughly wash Chana Dal and Toor dal 3 times and add enough water to that bowl to let the dals soak for 2-3 hours. Homemade Masala pinwheel bread

Hello Friends, Today I am going to share the recipe for a yummilicious Masala Bread pinwheel. It is wholewheat and eggless. So a healthier version of the regular maida/APF bread.         I have made 2 varieties of masala bread.You can either try one or both of them. Hi friends, Pizza is one of the delicius trending food  that is being craved by all. Store bought Pizzas or Restaurant pizzas  are of course tempting but you never know what preservatives and  artificial colours are added in them. The safest option that is available is to make it at home fresh and with clean ingredients without compromising on the taste. Home made Stuffed Garlic Bread

Hi friends, Welcome to Archana's Veg food chronicles. Today I am going to give you a recipe for Stuffed Garlic bread. Cheesy garlic bread is a very popular starter and is specially liked by kids. So lets start. Ingredients: For the bread: 1/2 Cup Whole wheat flour 1/2 Cup All purpose flour 1 tsp dry yeast. 1 tsp salt  1 tbsp sugar 3 tbsp warm milk 4 tbsp butter 3/4 cup milk For the filling:  4 tbsp butter 6-8 minced garlic cloves finely chopped cilantro/parsley Salt to taste (if butter has salt then adjust it) Mozzarella cheese 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese Chilli flakes Mixed Italian herbs Instructions:  In a bowl take warm milk, mix dry yeast and sugar.
