  Chocolate Avocado Smoothie!! Made this super yummy guilt free smoothie using Avacados, bananas, cocoa powder, honey, and some milk.Absolutely tastes delicious. Homemade Eggless Povitica - Sweet bread recipe with walnut filling

  POVITICA (Poviteezah) A traditional Croatian sweet pastry made with a yeast raised dough that is rolled or stretched out thinly and then spread with a nut filling. This gorgeous eggless bread bundt was made for my younger one's birthday we had a small picnic party in a nearby park😀 Recipe inspired by @foodlustpeoplelove INGREDIENTS: FOR THE DOUGH - Dry Activated Yeast 1-5 tsp Warm milk 3/4 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Bread flour / APF 2 1/3 cup Melted butter 2tbsp Vanilla essence 1 tsp Flax meal 11/2 tbsp + Water 3 tbsp Salt 1/4 tsp FOR THE FILLING Walnuts 1 cup Coconut sugar 3/4 cup Cinnamon powder 1 tbsp Warm milk 4 tbsp Melted butter 1/4 cup Vanilla essence 1 tsp  FOR BAKING  Honey/ Maple syrup 1-2 tbsp Raisins 8-10 INSTRUCTION  1.For proofing ,  Add  dry activated yeast in warm milk along with sugar. Kumbala kayi Ghargi / Sweet Pumpkin Fritters ( jaggery sweetened)

 Kumbalakai Ghargi / Sweet pumpkin fritters (Jaggery sweetened) Happy Ugadi /New Year to everyone celebrating🙏 Ghargi/Garige, one of the traditional recipes from North Karnataka is absolutely delicious. This is my Mom's recipe which has been passed on to her by my grandmother. INGREDIENTS: Sweet pumpkin grated 21/2 cups Wheat flour 1 cup Ghee 1 tbsp Jaggery powder 11/2 cup Cardamom powder 1 tsp Poppy seeds 1 tbsp Oil for frying INSTRUCTION: 🌾Heat a pan, add ghee & grated sweet pumpkin.Saute on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. 🌾Now add jaggery powder & mix well for 2 minutes. 🌾Now add Wheat flour, cardamom powder and mix well. Off the flame & let it cool down. 🌾Heat oil in a Kadai, take lemon sized balls out of sweet pumpkin mixture & flatten them slightly ,deep fry them on both sides till they turn light brown. 🌾Transfer on to a paper napkin. Sikhedundi (fried sweet laddoo)

One of the authentic oldest sweet recipes almost 200 years ago in Karnataka , Sikhedundi / fried laddoo wherein puran balls are rolled in a urad dal batter and deep fried like wadas.   A recipe worth saving and documenting as we have to take forward the legacy of our elder generations📌📌 Recipe: 👉🏻For Urad dal batter: Urad dal 1 cup Chana dal 2 tsp Rice 1 tsp  👉🏻For Puran / Chana dal jaggery stuffing Chana dal 3/4 cup Water 11/2 cup Jaggery 1/2 cup Cardamom powder 1 tsp Oil for frying 🌺Wash and Soak Urad dal  and Chana dal in sufficient water for 6-8 hours. Grind in a blender jar ti make a thick batter with very less water just like vada batter consistency. Ferment overnight or 6-8 hours.  🌺Wash Chana dal and cook along with water for 4-5 whistles . Remove excess water by straining and mash it with a ladle.  🌺Heat a kadai, add mashed dal, jaggery and cardamom powder. Mix well and Sauté till everything is mashed up  👉🏻Bonus tip: Use a hand blender to make Pooran when in hurry

Vegan Nigerian coconut cookie crisps (GF)

These are super crisp, flavourful and absolutely healthy cookies.Inspired by @kitchenbutterfly's recipe. This is a combination of coconut jam drops, coconut crisps and coconut candy. I have made them healthier by using almond flour instead of APF and coconut sugar instead of refined sugar. I did not have any Jam so made my own with fresh strawberries. INGREDIENTS: Almond flour 11/2 cup Dessicated coconut (med) 1 cup Coconut sugar 1/2 cup Baking powder 3/4 tsp Salt a pinch coconut oil 2 tbsp coconut extract 1 tbsp combined with 2 tbsp water Strawberry jam INSTRUCTION: 🥥 Preheat Oven at 350 degree F 🥥In a bowl, add flour, dessicated coconut,coconut sugar, baking powder and salt.Mix well. 🥥In another bowl,Whisk coconut oil and coconut extract water mixture and pour into dry ingredients. 🥥Make a smooth soft dough.If too soft , add more flour. 🥥Split the dough into half and roll thinly between 2 parchment paper.Cut the sides to make a it a square shape.Cut horizontally and ver

A very simple, easy, and healthy summer dessert!Made with just 3 ingredients strawberries ,honey and ice.So smooth and creamy.!😋 I love strawberries and can eat it in any form.This is one of the easiest ways of enjoying this beautiful fruit.  We have been enjoying these summer frozen treats so much. Mason Jar Cherry Crumble (V,GF)

These individual cherry crumble mason jars are one of the easiest bakes, juicy cherries with a topping of Oats and a secret ingredient which is like a twist and made so much healthier.. Perfect for kids and elders too to grab their own cup and relish it peacefully. Inspired by this healthy recipe from @simplyquinoa, I had to bake these and they were all gone soon after they came out of the oven and got clicked 😀😉 INSTRUCTION: For the cherries Cherries (fresh/frozen) 1 1/2 cup pits removed Coconut sugar 2 tbsp Tapioca starch 2 tbsp Cinnamon Powder 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract 1/4 tsp For the topping.  Vegan Mac n cheese (stove top) using quinoa macaroni I thought of making a simplified quick stove top version of Mac and cheese using @andean.dream quinoa macaronis , broccoli, @primalkitchenfoods vegan mayo and @violife_foods vegan cheese. We love pasta and always find a way to eat it 😀 So here comes my not so authentic mac n cheese version yet super flavourful🙌 INGREDIENTS: Quinoa Macaroni 1 pack Onion 1/2 chopped Broccoli florets 1 and 1/2 cups blanched Olive oil 1 tbsp Vegan cheese slices/shreds 1 cup Vegan Mayonnaise 1/2 cup Garlic powder 1 tbsp Onion powder 1 tbsp Salt to taste Coriander leaves finely chopped.
