 No churn Vegan Plum Icecream🍦🍦 Being on this platform has made me try out such amazing flavours and healthy Icecream recipes that I don't think I will ever go back to the store bought ones.😀  Tried my hands on this Plum Icecream, super easy to make, just 4 ingredients and you get a pretty and healthy Icecream which can't match store bought ones. My kids had a great time relishing this in @letsdoorganic ice cream cones. Happy National Icecream Day!!  Recipe: Plum 3-4 Coconut Milk 1 can Maple syrup 5 tbsp Vanilla Essence 1/2 tbsp Choco chips (optional) Instruction: Freeze plums for 1-2 hours, so they become a bit hard.  Just add all the ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth paste.  Transfer them into a loaf pan, sprinkle choc chips(optional) cover with a parchment paper, secure it right using a rubber band .  Freeze min 4 hours or overnight.  Wait for some time after taking out from the freezer before taking out the scoop.Then scoop out on...

Indori Poha - Jeeravan Masala

Have you tried this version of Poha for your breakfast yet???  There is this masala called Jeeravan which is sprinkled on the regular kanda poha which brings in the twist. Sharing the masala recipe here ..  Ingredients Jeera 2 tsp Dhaniya 11/2 tsp Black peppercorn 3-4  Dalchini stick 1 small Javitri 1 small Red chilli dried 3-4  Nutmeg powder 1/4tsp Black salt 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Dry ginger powder 1/4 tsp Asafoetida 1 pinch Aamchur powder 1/4 tsp 1.Just dry roast the whole spices and grind into a smooth powder.  2.Add in the remaining spice powders and mix well.  3.This masala is to be sprinkled on your regular Poha along with some Sev, coriander leaves 😋😋 #poha #indoripoha😋 #indoripohamasala 

Mini Sweet potato thalipeeth

 Mini Sabudana Thalipeeth ✨ For all those who are fasting this Navratri, sharing this easiest thalipeeth recipe  INGREDIENTS: Sabudana 1/2 cup  Water for soaking  Potato 1 grated Peanuts 1/4 cup Green chillies 1-2 Cumin seeds 1 tsp Oil 1 tsp Hing a pinch Ginger peeled 1/2 inch Water  Oil  INSTRUCTION: 👉🏻 Wash and Soak Sabudana overnight 👉🏻 Roast Peanuts on low flame until brown. 👉🏻 Remove the peel off from the roasted peanuts. 👉🏻 In a Mixer, add peanuts, cumin seeds, hing, ginger, and blend to make a coarse powder. 👉🏻 Grate potato using a grater. 👉🏻 Strain water from sabudana , add this coarse powder, grated potato,salt , oil , water and make a stiff dough. 👉🏻 Smear oil on a Tava.Take a small lemon sized ball of the dough and make a mini thalipeeth on the tava.   Baked Cranberry-Coconut-Jaggery wholewheat Gujiyas🎊🎉 Happy Holi to everyone celebrating!! These baked Karanjis became our delicious holi treat. I thought of stuffing them with something different. I had these dried cranberries in my Fridge. So I came up with this idea of dried cranberries, jaggery, and desiccated coconuts along with some thandai powder. They were super delicious crispy and gone in no time.!!😅 Recipe: (Makes 10-12 gujiyas) ↪Making the whole wheat dough:  Take 1 cup whole wheat flour, 2 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp coconut sugar, 1/4 tsp salt. These healthy Idlis are a perfect addition to your Breakfast routine because they are easy to make using Barnyard Millet Rava instead of Idly Rava. Addition of millets in Idlis increases the nutrition level and the health benefits that we get are innumerable.  I got Barnyard Millet Rava from Indian stores here in USA .  It is that time of the year when we make the most sweet items . Shravana Maasa , the first of the four Chaturmasa is considered very auspicious and we perform Pooja to the  Dieties with all our devotion and excitement. Karigadubu means fried kadubu ( sweet dumplings made with Chana dal and Jaggery stuffed in Wheat flour dough and deep fried) . Happy Shravan Somvar to everyone celebrating😊🙏🎉🎉 We usually fast on all the Shravan Somvaar’s till evening & offer Naivedyam to Lord Shiva at night & break the fast. So Bhagar is one such traditional Maharashtrian fasting  recipe made using barnyard millet that I made yesterday. Soft Instant Rava Idly recipe

 This is one breakfast that I make all the time as it requires no prep, can be made in 20 mins and with simple ingredients that we already have on hand.  The recipe is simple .. do give a try and serve with your fav chutney. Basundi using Coconut Sugar

Homemade Basundi/Rich sweetened with Coconut sugar , flavoured with cardamom and nutmeg and garnished with dryfruits. Onion Chutney for Dosa/ Idli

ONION CHUTNEY...North karnataka style prepared by my Mom. It is perfect with dosa ,idly or phaddu. Even with chapati and Jowar bhakri.This is one of the traditional north karnataka chutneys prepared in villages from 80 years. . INGREDIENTS: For Chutney: Oil 1-2 tbsp Urad dal 1 tbsp Tur dal 1 tbsp Peanuts 1/4 cup Dried red chilli 2-3 Tamarind 1 inch Salt to taste Jaggery 2 tbsp Chopped onion 1  For Tempering Oil  2 tsp Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp Jeera 1 tsp Hing 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Curry leaves 3-4  . INSTRUCTION: 🍂In a pan make a tempering /oggarane of oil, urad dal,tur dal , peanut, dried red chilli ,tamarind ,salt ,jaggery add chopped onion .Fry them well. 🍂After it cools down ,Grind in a mixie Jar into chutney consistency. 🍂Top it with a tempering /oggarane of oil, mustard seeds, jeera, hing, turmeric,curry leaves. 🍂 Serve with your favourite Dosa / Idly .

  Baked Masala bun/pav/smashed potato filling stuffed Bun. They are one of the authentic and most loved bakery items in India. INGREDIENTS:  For the dough : Activated yeast 2 tsp Milk 1/4 cup Sugar 1 tbsp Wheat flour 11/2 cups All purpose flour 11/2 cups Salt 1/2 tsp Milk 1/2 cup Water to knead For the stuffing : Oil 1 tbsp Jeera 1 tsp Hing 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Onion chopped 1 Potatoes boiled 5-6 Salt to taste Sugar 1/2 tsp Garam Masala 1 tsp Recipe *Activating Yeast: In a bowl, mix 2 tsp activated yeast and milk and 1 tbsp Sugar. Pancharatna Dal Khichdi Recipe

Panchratna dal Khichdi in my Instant pot. I love one pot dishes...and this dish has the nutrition of 5 lentils, rice and veggies.It is quick as well as satisfying.
