The recipe is simple .. do give a try and serve with your fav chutney. I made a chutney with beetroot greens and stalks by frying it with a tempering. A delicious combo here.

Let’s see how to make these simple Idlis …

INGREDIENTS:
Sooji Rava 2 cups
Flattened rice / Poha 1 cup
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Water for soaking
Salt 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda a pinch

INSTRUCTION:
☘ Take Rava/sooji and  Flattened rice in a mixing bowl.

๐Ÿ€ Add yogurt and some water, soak for 15 minutes.

☘Grind to a smooth batter.Add 1/2 tsp salt and a pinch baking soda.Mix well

๐Ÿ€ Now the Idly batter is ready. .

๐Ÿ€ Grease Idly plates with some oil / ghee, pour a ladle full of batter in each idly mould.

๐Ÿ€ Transfer the idly plates to a cooker filled with 1 cup water / Idly maker and steam Idlis by closing the lid without pressure weight for 10-15 mins on low flame.

๐Ÿ€Once done, Take out the lid , let cool for some time and Demould the Idlis in a hot pot .

๐Ÿ€Tastes best when served immediately when hot . Serve with your fav chutney .

Eggless Brazilian Cheese Bread

Pao de Queijo (pronounced as pown -deh- kay-zho) aka Brazilian Cheese Bread is a small baked cheese bun, a popular snack and breakfast food that originated in the state Minas Gerais of Brazil. These are bread/buns usually made with tapioca flour, milk, oil, cheese, salt, and egg/egg substitute. Since I don't use eggs in my baking I have used vinegar instead. These are soft, chewy and so addictive. I love to make healthy bakes from all around the world. Inspired by this YouTube video by Something Dave and I gave it a try as it was an eggless version. These came out so well. These are super simple and easy to make with just five ingredients. A must try because they are gluten-free, contain no yeast, no baking powder, yet so soft and cheesy๐Ÿ˜‹ I had never tried baking with tapioca flour...and found it so interesting to bake with. The dough is too sticky and you will need some extra flour to be dusted to make balls out of it. I have used plant-based pa...
