  Chocolate Avocado Smoothie!! Made this super yummy guilt free smoothie using Avacados, bananas, cocoa powder, honey, and some milk.Absolutely tastes delicious. Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala





We were craving Pav Bhaji 😋😋but ran out of Pav Bhaji Masala . Then came the idea of preparing it myself at home . Very easy to make with spices you already have at home and in no time🙌🏻 Do try 📌📌




Ingredients:

🌶Coriander seeds 4 tbsp

🌶Cumin seeds 2 tbsp

🌶 Bay leaf 2-3

🌶cloves 6-8

🌶cardamom 2

🌶Cinnamon stick 1”

🌶Fennel seeds 2-3 tsp

🌶 Turmeric 1 tsp

🌶 Amchur powder 1 tbsp

🌶Dried Red Chili’s 8-10 (optional)


Instruction:

1. Just dry roast all the dried spices for a minute on low flame ,


2. Transfer to a mixer Jar, add turmeric and Aamchur powder & grind into a fine powder.


3. Store in a glass container and refrigerate until you use it.


4. Make a mouthwatering Pav bhaji using this masala powder.

Huli pudi (Sambar Powder) North Karnataka style

Huli Pudi is one of the authentic traditional Sambar powders which has been passed on from generation to generation. This is specially made in North Karnataka. There is a wide variety of sambar powders not only within Karnataka but within South India. Each region has it's own way of adding ingredients and making them. In North Karnataka brahmin families, you can usually see two types of Sambars, firstly 'Saaru ' which can also be called Rasam with Toor dal. The consistency is thin and usually made with Tur dal and tomatoes or Tamarind. The other one is 'Huli' which is thicker in consistency and usually includes some veggies or greens. So here I am sharing the Sambar powder that is used to make a typical Huli. This is so unique and different from South Karnataka Sambar powders.
